Vale of Grwyney Community Council

The Vale of Grwyney Community Council joins with the nation to express its deep sadness on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Members of the public are invited to sign the books of condolence at:

• Y Gaer, Glamorgan Street, Brecon, Powys, LD3 7DW
• County Hall, Llandrindod Wells, Powys, LD1 5LG
• Newtown Library, Park Lane, Newtown, Powys, SY16 1EJ

The book of condolence at Powys County Council, County Hall in Llandrindod Wells will be open from 9am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday and will remain open until 4:30pm on the day following the funeral.

Powys County Council has extended the opening hours at y Gaer and Newtown Library while the book of condolences is open.  The opening times are:

Y Gaer:

• Monday: 9:30am to 5pm
• Tuesday: 9.30am to 6.30pm
• Wednesday: 9.30am to 6.30pm
• Thursday: 9.30am to 6.30pm
• Friday: 9:30am to 5pm
• Saturday: 10am to 4:30pm
• Sunday: 10am to 4:30pm

Newtown Library

• Monday: 9am to 6.30pm
• Tuesday: 9am to 6:30pm
• Wednesday: 9am to 4:30pm
• Thursday: 9am to 6:30pm
• Friday: 8am to 4:30pm
• Saturday: 9:30am to 4:30pm
• Sunday: 10am to 4:30pm

The books of condolence will remain open at y Gaer and Newtown Library until 4:30pm on the day following the funeral.
