Repairs to the road between Llanbedr and Fforest Coal Pit closed in February 2024 due to a landslip are scheduled to commence in March 2025. Machinery will be on site from 3 March 2025 with works anticipated to start on 10 March 2025.
Whilst the contractor will endeavour to allow locals/farmers affected by the closure access whilst the works are underway this will only be with notice at limited times, when it is safe to do so. Access to other traffic will not be permitted. Abuse of this arrangement will result in the road being completely closed.
Works are forecast to take four months to complete
