Community Speedwatch volunteers?

Message from Cllr Claire Hall – Councillor for Crickhowell, Cwmdu & Tretower

Hi, Councillor Chloe and I have been approached by a number of different individuals within our ward who have expressed concerns over road traffic speeds in their local area and are willing to become community speedwatch volunteers. We would therefore like to see if there are any other like-minded people within our community who would like to come forward with a view to arranging the necessary training, DBS checks and registration with GOSafe and Dyfed-Powys Police.  We thought it might be more efficient to arrange a group training and registration session rather than lots of individual ones. 

If you could kindly advertise this opportunity within your local area I would be very grateful and ask that anyone who may be interested makes contact with either Cllr Chloe or myself to discuss further.
