Are you free sometime between 10am – 5pm on the weekend of the April 29/30th (Llanbedr Village Hall)  and/or May 6/7th (Llangenny School Hall)?

Young people 50 plus, are invited to help record the history of the Vale as part of the Gwanwyn Festival festival this summer

Join local company PuppetSoup and other local residents as part of the Gwanwyn Festival celebrating the history and lives of the people of the Vale.

Over two weekends we will collect an array of stories about the Vale of Grwyne to bring the community together and create an archive of life in the Vale.

Enjoy two weekends of drop-in workshops to share your stories, record your local history and learn new skills such as puppet-making, crafts and theatre.

PuppetSoup will help you to create a community memory box that can be shared with families and generations to come.  How this memory box takes shape is up to you, the community,  but could take the form of written or recorded storytelling, a short performance, a song, a piece of art or photographs of puppets that you make.

Whether you have a story to tell or would just like to help support this event, you would be very welcome to come along and join in!

All community contributions are welcome and each day will be different.  You need no particular skills to join in, just come along and have a go!

Fun and free with meals , teas, cakes and refreshments included!
Come and help record the history of the Vale.
Supported by the Parish of Grwyne, Chris the Vicar and Gwanwyn Festival 2017
