Crickhowell once had a very successful twinning with a small town in Brittany.  The town, Scaer, is of similar size to Crickhowell and is famous for its truly spectacular carnival – See the Website Carnaval Scaer

Whilst the Twinning was up and running there were many visits to and from with families, schools and sports groups, and all gained from the cultural exchange.

A number of people have expressed the wish for this twinning to be re-established and in response Crickhowell Town Council is arranging a meeting to gauge the public interest and would also like to see what clubs and societies are interested in reforming links with their counterparts in France.

If you would like to see the twinning up and running again, please come to the Clarence Hall on Friday 12th October at 7:00pm
